The Ataturk Museum - ISTANBUL-

The building Ataturk lived and worked before the Independance War, during his stay in Istanbul between 1918 and 1919, originally was built in 1908 and restored by the Istanbul Municipality  in 1943, opening to the public in 1981. Top floor of this building was reserved to His mother Zubeyde Hanim and His sister Makbule, meanwhile Ataturk used middle floor for himself and lower floor for His loyal officer.

Ataturk's photographs from his birth until his death are on display, as well as some of his clothes, personal belongings and paintings. It's located at Halaskargazi Street in Sisli.

Open daily between 09:30-16:00 except Thursdays and Sundays.

Archaeological Museum -ISTANBUL-

This complex was built by the end of 19th century by the architect Vallaury thanks to great efforts of famous Turkish painter Osman Hamdi Bey. It includes the exquisite Tiled Kiosk and the Museum of the Ancient Orient and houses a large collection of artifacts and art works belonging to ancient Greek, Roman and other Anatolian civilizations dating back to the 6th century BC.

Halil Eldem Bey opened Ancient Eastern Archeological Museum  in 1917  . The collection on displays comprised of about 15000 archeological pieces of Ancient Mesopotamia, Pre-Greek Anatolia, Assyrian, Sumerian, Acadian, Babylonian, Ancient Egyptian and Pre-Islamic Arabic culture.

Eyup Mosque - ISTANBUL -

Eyup mosqueis  the first mosque built after the conquest of Istanbul, It  lies outside the city walls in Eyup district, near the Golden Horn, at the supposed place where Eyyub el Ensari, the standard bearer of the Prophet Muhammed, died in the Islamic assault on Constantinople Istanbul in 670. Today it's considered as the second place of pilgrimage for Muslims after Mecca.

Suleymaniye (the Magnificent)-ISTANBUL-

The Mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent One of the most outstanding pieces of architecture was built in the 16th century by Mimar Sinan, the famous Ottoman architect,  for Sultan Süleyman the Magnificient. Standing on a hilltop of the ancient city over the Golden Horn, it contributes gracefully to the city's skyline. The tombs of the Sultan, his wife Hürrem and Mimar Sinan are found in its compounds. It is the largest mosque of Istanbul which has four minarets.
The Suleymaniye mosque was closed for restorations since 2008, and it's opened to public in November 2010 again.

Sultanahmet (The Blue Mosque) -ISTANBUL-

Blue Mosque
This 17th century mosque, is famous for its beautiful blue tile work ornamenting its interior walls. Its surrounding six slim minarets.Because of these minarets, this mosque is different from other mosques which normally have two or four minarets. The mosque was built  between 1609-1616 by the architect Mehmet Aga with the order of Sultan Ahmed I and became the most important mosque of the city, right in the Sultanahmet square.
